Heidi Bonesteel is full of surprises. She’s up for any adventure and embraces the unexpected in her life and in her design projects. She believes that a space should be as unique and fun as the people who occupy it and strives to bring that kind of authentic creativity to her clients. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Santa Barbara and later received her Interior and Environment Design Certificate at UCLA. She apprenticed for a residential interior design firm which exposed her to some of the most exciting residential projects at the time. She joined Hannah Gordon Design, a high-end residential design firm in 1994 and later became partner. Heidi partnered with Michele and Jill to form Bonesteel Trout Hall in 2004.

Michele Trout began to develop her design sensibilities during the year she spent living in Europe after completing her Bachelor of Arts at Pepperdine University. She embraced the tradition and beauty that permeated everything around her, but missed the casual elegance of her native California. Her desire to combine those elements grew as she pursued her Interior and Environmental Design Certificate at UCLA. While at UCLA, Michele worked for hospitality design firms such as Wilson & Associates and James Northcutt Associates. She worked at Barry Design Associates for six years, leaving as a senior designer. She joined Hannah Gordon Design in 2002 and partnered with Heidi and Jill to form Bonesteel Trout Hall in 2004.

Down to her core, Jill Hall is a competitive athlete. She is tenacious, determined and exactly the person you want in your corner if you like things done well and on schedule. Jill received her bachelor degree from UCLA and began her career in the marketing department of a high end residential home builder. She then joined her family’s custom home business where she managed all aspects of finance and client relations. In 1993, she joined and managed Hannah Gordon Design. Her business background offers her clients a level of detail and follow through that ensures painlessly successful interior projects.
